National multifamily developer, ZOM Living, has completed the $64.3 million sale of Azola South Tampa, a recently developed luxury rental community in the South Tampa neighborhood of Tampa, Florida.
The property’s buyer is Momentum Real Estate Partners, a Miami-based multifamily real estate investment firm. Located at 7701 Interbay Boulevard, the 214-unit, garden-style community spans nine acres with multiple grand oak trees and a natural vegetative habitat that creates a tranquil and harmonious residential enclave.
“Tampa has undergone a significant real estate boom in recent years and stands out as one of the nation’s fastest-growing metropolitan areas,” noted Greg West, CEO of ZOM Living. “The sale of this community underscores the robust demand we’ve witnessed for amenity-rich living spaces, reflected by our consistently strong property performance over the years.”
Azola South Tampa features floorplans ranging from 750 square foot one-bedroom apartments to 2,100 square foot townhome units complete with three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. Among the amenities the luxurious community offers are the 6,000-square-foot resident clubhouse comprised of the resident lounge, co-working areas, kitchenette, gaming room with billiards, and a robust fitness center. Winding through the oak trees, an outdoor community path leads to a resort-style swimming pool with water features and a resident pavilion complete with hammocks, hanging egg chairs, summer kitchen and grilling area.
The community also has various pet-friendly amenities including an on-site dog salon and private dog park woven underneath an existing tree canopy. The property’s freestanding private detached garages offer additional vehicle storage options along with on-site electric vehicle chargers.
ZOM Living has been developing in Tampa for more than 30 years with 12 rental residential communities delivered in the region. Recently, the company announced it secured a $63 million construction loan to begin building MetWest Residential, a new luxury multifamily community with 375 apartment units and 3,000 square feet of prime retail space situated within the mixed-use development MetWest International in Tampa’s Westshore District. In 2023, ZOM also delivered Azalea Apartments, which is comprised of 289 luxury rental units on a 13-acre site in the East Brandon submarket. In 2019, ZOM also opened the luxury waterfront apartment community of Seazen Rocky Point Apartments on the Rocky Point peninsula, featuring 323 units and boasting 750 linear feet of direct waterfront on the pristine Tampa Bay.
